"Venia Nightengale."
Venia Nightengale is my LARP persona. She is an archer born of Noble blood.
The original idea came from my Renaissance fare outfit then turned into my first LARP character.
Venia as had a total of three costumes so far, including the renaissance fare version. All three are in this slide show.
Hard Leather piece in Ver. 3 is from Bo's Creations. Corsets in all designs and flowy shirt from Ver. 1 and 2 and caplet from Ver. 2 are from Out of the Broom Closet.
Ver. 2 won 'Best PC Costume' from NERO Armonia June 2012 and again in June 2014.
"Bubble Goth Lolita."
Soon after the tragic Tsunami that hit Japan, a local group in Halifax ( Toxic Blossom ) held a 'J-Pop Dance for Japan Relief'. I attended dressed in a design I had based off of the fashions in my Japanese Magazines.
The outfit was made by Out of the Broom Closet but designed by me.
This creation won 'Best Lolita' at the event in April of 2011. They made another category in the costume contest for the design!
"Little Red - Werewolf Hunter."
This was an idea that was kicking around my head for a few years. Last year, I brought it out as a Halloween Costume and a LARP NPC. I have since changed it and added a few things. Ciara is the model for this one. The hood was designed by me and made by Out of the Broom closet and I. The corset is from Out of the Broom closet. All guns are airsoft.
